With Thanksgiving just around the corner, MilSO Box LLC decided to do a thankful theme for this month’s box.
Thankful for our loved ones!
Of course, I’m thankful for my Love even though we wont be able to celebrate this holiday together. American-made company, Handmade Happy Mail provided a custom thank you card for us to send to someone we’re thankful for. I’ll be sending my Love this card soon to let him know that I’m thinking of him even though he isn’t here.
Thankful for our friends!
Military life can take us away from old friends, and give us many new ones. These friendship bracelets from MilSO-owned Love and War Jewelry are to remember a friend despite the distance. I think the bow is adorable, and lends itself well to a “We bow-long together” pun.
Thankful for our freedom!
After we expressed our freedom to vote in the presidential election last week, it is important to remember that we’re all Americans and to be thankful for the freedoms we hold so dear. This necklace from Starfish Project was handmade by a woman who has regained her freedom after being rescued from human trafficking. As you know, I love companies who help others or give back in some way, so I was ecstatic to see this!
Thankful for our health!
As winter nears bringing with it cold and flu season, these essential oils were provided by a Young Living Distributor and fellow MilSO Blogger at Oils For Days. I have recently fallen in love with oils as a way to heal ailments naturally. I was given Lemon and Thieves, Lemon has been one of my favorites, but I haven’t ever used Thieves so I’m excited to try it!
Thankful for touch!
Although I’m really missing feeling my Love’s touch right about now, this little treat for my hands will have to do. MilSO-owned Whiskey, Ink, and Lace created this Spiced Chai Hand Cream. It honestly smells like my chai tea latte order from Starbucks! This company specializes in mostly men’s natural skincare products so after scoping out the website, I have already purchased a Christmas gift for my Love from this company!
As always, if you would like to receive your own MilSO Box monthly, you can subscribe here. If you choose to do so, you can save 10% off any subscription by using the code: JULBFRIENDS10.
I’ll be honest, this month was the last of my 6 month subscription, and I decided not to resubscribe quite yet. Instead of spending the $200 on another 6 month subscription for myself, I am going to put those funds towards my holiday shopping for others. I still love my MilSO Box though, so I do plan on resubscribing after the holidays!
